Hypotemoose (Heavyweight)
A right triangle, right angle in the bottom corner, legs labelled a and b. The
third side, the long one opposite the right angle, is the hypotenuse. On this
triangle it is a moose. It has HYPOTEMOOSE written down its back, in case there
was any doubt, and it is climbing.
Up top, Pythagoras' theorem, written out for this particular triangle:
(m∞se)² = a² + b². Turn the infinity sign on its side and it is two o's. It
also makes the hypotenuse infinitely long, which explains why the moose is
still climbing.
It is the theorem every school child learns, with one variable replaced by a
large ungulate. The algebra still balances.
